I've worked out how to use javascript to open a link in a new window, without menus. It works, right size and everything. One problem: it's not actually opening hte page. Each time there's one of those 'page cannot be displayed messages'. And I've gone back through al the tutorials, looked at all their links, looked at all my links, looked at all my spelling... Why isn't it opening hte pages? i just don't get it.
whee! Squee! And other noises of joy. I think i've got it. ONly works when the pages in question are actually up on hte web though, not within files on hte computer. Still, whee squee and so on.
