minervasoloI've just walked into what I now think of as a 'fandom wank'. or just a 'wank', as the people there keep calling it, but then my mind goes to bad places and I have to start over again. Anyone, big fuss of 'true shippers'. I had a bit of a go at someone calling themself no.1 D/Hr shipper. It kinda turned into a rant at shippers in general, and got very looooong. And then i felt obliged to say something to the owner of the journal (and the one who wrote hte fic that sparked the whole thing off), and had to admit I hadn't read the fic and found out about the whole thing at fandom_wank. Unforunately, she seems like the kind of person who has the potential to get very upset at that, so we'll see how things pan out. I figured she ought to know it was there, and as I said, it does give hte whole thing a bit of perspective when you see petty fights like this turn up three or four times a day, for every fandom imaginble. Even neopets. Yes, i was scared too.
sister. party. thing. grr. sister may be forved to go to Norfolk with mother. actually, i wouldn't have minded going, but party on Friday + party on Sunday = not likely to be moving much saturday. Oh, got to find outfit for friday. Yay dressy-uppy. Come on, i was in the Lake District last year, so this is the first Halloween party I've been to since my own in year six. woo. Anria come? pretty please? I'll have to check, but you might even be able to stay over again, if you bring bus money for the morning and don't mind mad rush as mother and Harry (and possibly Clo) leave to (a) feed neighbour's cat (b) get food and videos for clo's party and (c) go to suffolk. On second thought, maybe you won't want to stay over. you're likely to get woken early and often! But maybe... up to you. plans must be made.
back to earth. been playing with alternate versions of a fic, came up with some wonderfulyl nspapy lines to end a chapter, accidentally saved over them, can't remember what the bloody things were. oh well. Hey, wait, that was more fan stuff, so not earht. Damn, where'd that planet get to?
