minervasoloFinding Nemo is a lot like 101 Dalmations. The boks, not either of the films. It was a damn good book, says someone who read it when she was eight and hasn't picked it up since.
My parents are going away for a weekend. My sister asked if she could have a few people over. Personally, not a big fan of sister's friends, so that situation immediately makes me want out of the house. And then there's the added bonus. She's not having a few friends, she's having a Haloween party with an as yet undecided guest list, but hushhushdon'ttellmum. So I go and ask what weekend people are going away (and have promptly forgotten again) and say I don't want to be there. Mum and Harry decide that perhaps they won't leave til Saturday. Sister now hates me. Chances are they wouldn't have left til sat anyway, and I'm pretty cerytain she was planning this for saturday night, but hey. Last time she had a party, with about 20 guests, two went and sat on a neighbour's car and he threatened to call the police, and some of the others started dropping pint glasses on top of the netting on our pond to see if they would float. I don't want to be the responsible adult at her party, which i would have had to be, and I don't even like her friends! So i'm not staying. Or she's not having a party. We'll see.
