pleased with myself. I finally finished hcapter seven of the revised version of greenhelm. I never actually finished the original version, but I started it when I was thirteen and it shows in the language. I'm having minor panics that writing is going to go the same way as drawing for me. I'll think I'm a natural, and maybe for a certain age I was, but my style stops maturing and I change things when people point stuff out until eventually I end up forced to acknowledge that if there are that many things that need changing, perhaps it's not a natural talent after all.

In some things I'm mediocre, but in nothing am i either best of worse. Even really stupid things, I'll alway meet someone who hits whatever extreme I'm at just a little more than i do. It bugs me. I want to be the bestt person i knowat something, and the worst person i know at something. So far, I've never been either.

I'm going to try writing origfic to deadlines. Someone give me deadlines, please?

as long as that wasn't sarcasm... there's magic and feudal systems and patricide and curses and elves and, well, everything that belongs in a fantasy novel. I'm struggling to keep the two lead male characters form being. They both need to get married and have kids, dammit! One has a gay son, and hte other a biexual son, but the parents themselves are not allowed to get together.
