Apparantly 'save file' and 'screw up the formatting on this disc' are the same thing. To our downstairs computer at least. That's the third disc it's killed. I thought it ws to do with the discs being in the machine when it crashed (which it's doing less now I've got rid of the screensaver that might have been one of the many causes), but this was wasn't. It worked fine. I saved stuff on it last night. I try and open stuff now, here, no go. Thank fuck I got my psych done yesterday, and printed it down there. I have a horrible tendency to save final versions in just one place.

Ooh, I hate it when computers do that! It's why I don't save stuff on disk any more at college. >.< Did you lose anything important other than psychology?
