The carpet in the main building of the college. Seems they've redone the front, all glass and whitewash and shiny fake-wood desks, and then you get into the corridor and argh.
Well, it's one way to wake students up in the morning. They haven't bothered carpet ustairs though (the stairs themselves are carpeted only to the first floor, then it abrutply stops). But oh my god did it give me a shock this morning.
This whole enrolling thing was meant to take 2 hours max, pref much less. I was there three hours enrolling, and another half hour chatting. Woo for seeing people again. See, first there's an hour of nothing with your form tutor, then half an hour of intense boredom as the careers person talks at you, then queueing outside classrooms to see very bored tachers to tell them that you want to keep the subject going. Apparantly there weren't meant to be queues. Apparantly our college has the brain of a tadpole, to overlook that there are many many students doing many many subjects taking lots and lots of time.
So, yes, doing 5 a levels and another AS (which i may turn into an AE level, or whatever it's called). Free time? what's that? They're even making me switch tutors to fit it all in. Not really that fussed.
Going to london on Fri with Roz, to look round film library for her film studies project and visit the Sherlock Holmes museum because we like it. Eep, trains.

Psych Coursework
IT coursework (relaly didn't want to be reminded about that)
Write personal statement
Do maths homework
Do physics homework
Read English books (and buy Blake poetry)
Sort out saving stuff to CD
Read Cambidge prospectus, pick a college, find out what I need to submit
