minervasoloI'm camping. No, really I am. This is just my last despeate use of Lj before I am desprived. I worries me that LJ is the thing I'm oging to miss most about not having the 'net.
Last rant: My mother decided last night we should have champagne. AS marks aren't that important! She didn't blink an eye at my GCSE results, but i think perhaps no one of 'the older generation' has quite got their head round the fact that these are half an A level, not A levels in their own right. I didn't wanted alcohol last night. I just wanted to sit and watch tv and ignore people. No such chance. Had to speak to random relatives and 'celebrate' marks. On the other hand, when we go to look at Exeter Uni, mum's going to book us into a nice hotel for the night. Apparantly thatscoz I did well.
I found someone on FA.O who got 5As, so I feel more abe to celebrate now ^_^ got the marks back. I do think they moved the IT marks - otherwise an A is very high. I'm not going to go fora remarks, because I know if I put my mind to it in subjects like Maths, physcics and IT I can get 100%, if I really learn it. When there's a right or wrong answer, if I try, I can get all right. Turns out I'm not half bad at essays either, since i got 100% on PYA1 (0.o don't knnow quite how I managed that...) and 89/90 on one of the English papers. See - I did well, but I can do better, and next year I will.
Mmmhhh, want to take Lj with me! Final mad pack, rounding up of sister and her friend, and toodles. When i get back there will be mad posting of fics, since I have so much suddenly appearing. It would have been here yesterday, but mad mother locked the room wih the internet. We made her unlock it again!
