minervasoloI have about an hour to kill in London today, and need to buy lunch in that time. South Bank or British Library? My ticket doesn't really give me more range than that.
ETA Hung out at the British library. Took me a while to stop feeling like I was under suspicion for carrying a large bag, but I had a wander round the manuscript exhibition and glanced at the Darwin (mostly confirming that it was still there despite having meant to finish yesterday). I was going to have lunch with my sister, since she's here for passport getting (and has to stay until 4 to pick it up), but in the end we had about two minutes fly-by conversation, in which I persuaded her she might as well stay in the library, because by the time she reached any of the museums she'd only get to glance round before she had to go again. Have actually managed to get a table with a plug, so I can play on my laptop all the way home. Feel free to entertain me!
