16/12/08 07:39 pmLast yoga until after Christmas. I really need some proper yoga trousers, since I'm wearing through all my dance-camp trousers, and my jogging bottoms rustle as I walk. Doll's House boss gave my Christmas presents as I left today, including a 'secret santa' gift. I never saw a secret santa box, and I'm worried someone is missing out as a result (last year I got myself, which was just as well considering I missed my last couple of days before Christmas). I'm going to drop some Christmas cards in on Thursday, so I might ask then. Luckily, the boss's wife gave me mine, so it'll be easy to check.
Biscuits and Brandy Butter tomorrow (though I may buy the brandy butter, just in case I end up 'tasting' it too often!). I contemplated going shopping tomorrow, but cooking sounds better. I've got time to do a bit of last minute shopping around my five hour shift of Thursday. I still haven't organised my grandmothers's presents in my mind, but I think I have enough components. One of my sister's presents is broken, so I can either email M&S or get her boyfriend to glue it back together.
Signed up to one of those survey/free trial websites, which has sent me a referral to vente-privee (and to Toluna, is anyone wants to answer really inane surveys for vouchers). I've googled, and it doesn't seem to have any negative feedback apart from slow shipping times, and their ToS seems very reasonable. Basically, it offers short term sales on a wide variety of brands (incuding some designers), and takes comission from the brands to do so. It's invite only, so I figured if anyone wants to have a look around the site for cheap clothes (there's a designer sock brand on sale at the moment, if anyone is desperate for socks - there's also Petit Bateau, Derek Rose and Nike) let me know, and I'll send you a referral. I'm being tempted by cheap t-shirts, but I've promised not to buy anything else for myself until after Christmas. Not even yoga-trousers.
Thanks to
zombie_thing, I will mentally refer to the site as Rent-a-privy from now on. Probably not what they were going for with their whole exclusive member's club vibe ^_^
Oh, while I'm at it, if anyone wants to try and earn fifty quid from you-gov, let me refer you? I get money from the surveys you take ^_^
