Todays pre-work plans are being detoured via the bank, since I can't access my accounts online. A computer with NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland and AmEx customer details appeared on eBay last night. Data loss is apparntly so old hat now that this doesn't even rate front page news on the BBC website. The only place I can find it is on a report that it's the Daily Mail's front page today.

No, seriously, BBC. Where have you hidden this news?

The Independent delivers, anyway.

Actually, I'm listening to Tuesday morning's breakfast show (Chris Moyles Show, BBC Radio One) and the story has featured prominently on two news bulletins so far.

I don't know how it took so long to turn up on the website; it's normally the first thing they update, but it didn't seem to appear until about 3 in the afternoon. Maybe their financial person had a lie in?
