The universe is determined not to let me spend money on pretty writery things. Apparently not living in the US means I'm not allowed book earrings or female author coasters. The book earrings have resulted in an email about their site not taking the cards it says it does, becuase waaaaaant. Also, if it doesn't work now, how is it going to let me have the pretty roman glass neckalce when I want it?

We will have people viewing our house soon, so I need to (a) clean my room and (b) cover it in post-it notes to indicate quite how much furniture won't be there when they move in. I suppose we ought to go house hunting ourselves at some point in the not too distant future; I must admit, I will be making decisions on the basis of "is there enough space to feel comfortable while writing?" Because that's really all that matters. Oh, and is there space for a wardrobe, because I'm sick of mouldy clothes.

At some point, maybe after I've sorted my room out for the viewing, I'll do a photospree, so you guys can see just how small it is, and how much stuff I've tried to fit in there, and why I spend 90% of my time in the living room instead (oh, how I <3 my laptop!).

I take it you're staying with the same housemate(s? - is it just the two of you, I can't recall), but I still don't have anyone firm to take ultharkitty's place when she moves out in the summer, and you'd be more than welcome.

It's me, Mike and Rachel (who you may have met, but probably not often). We've agreed to stick together for the next year; we were going to stay here, but with the condensation and the room size it's agreed to go elsewhere, probably unfurnished.
