Had an arty day in the garden with my sister's paints yesterday ^_^ She's come down with some lf-like-thing now, which is slightly concerning because someone at her school was diagnosed with Viral Menangitis not so long ago. Except, apparently they weren't, but it's something eqully bad and untreatable. So sis is curled up in bed.
Had a traditional Chinese meal with the parents of one of her friends last night. Apparently I came across as the adventurous one, which i find deeply amusing. I can be so fussy about food (expecially fruits, randomly), but i was all nice, and the Chinese tea was gorgeous. Oh, and much fun with chopsticks, which kept me from eatingas fast as I normally do. Next time we go over, she's going to do a traditional Japanese meal ^_^
Of course, didn't get back til past midnight, and I woke up at 5 this morning, so shattered. Going to bed at eight tonight. Going to need blackout curtains...
*pouts* Sophie can't come to barbeque, she's at Party in the Park. We're going to do something the weekend after, since that's close to her birthday. Movie, meal, stuff like that. Got to call Gene this afternoon, check if she and her sister can come, then text everyone else the details to make sure everyone's clear on stuff. One week til barbeque, one week and a day til birthday! (me, excited? ^_^)
