minervasoloI've been having a bit of a grumpy day. Up until a few minutes ago, it was still a grumpy day, but then the combination of eating Ice Cream and listening to 'Walking on Sunshine' by Katrina and the Waves kinda changed that. ^_^
It's the heat. It's killing me at the moment. I sit and think really bitchy things, but I don't even have the energy to say them. Not that I would, anyway. I can pinpoint the moment when my day went from medium-okay to medium-not-okay. Anria and I had used some of our Pysch lesson to check our emails, and our teacher challenged us. We're doing relationships, so she asked what we had in common with the people we talked to on the internet. We looked at each other a moment too long. Result: Anria is very pissed at the teacher, I'm impressed with her and _really_ paranoid about what the rest of hte class thinks of us now. Still, only two weeks before the end of term, and I never learnt any of their names, so it doesn't exactly matter.
Anria got angry becuse she saw it as an invasion of privacy. I was impressed because most teachers wouldn't have done that. I've had several terrible teachers, who are all nice people, but can't control a class. Maura (the Psych teacher) challenged us since we were doing something we shouldn't have, and thus, we (well, I, at any rate) are much less likely to do it again. Trust me, if I'd been in charge it would have been a lot worse than mildly embarrassing us. I always get frustrated when teachers don't split up chatting students, or don't make those who mess about sit at the front, even when it's me chatting or messing about.
So, difference of opinion. If it had been cooler I (a) wouldn't have really noticed or (b) would have, and had enough energy to be more challenging about it. Since the hot weather made me both irritable and lethargic, it had the same result as cool weather, during which i tend to be more easygoing and energetic. But not hyper. not a hyper inclined person. Sorry Anria (she mentioned this the other day)
just to note: the only reason I've linked to her LJ each time her name comes up is because I'm experimenting with within site links. I know, I could just read the howto and newbie stuff, but this way's more interesting!
Written another SW fic. Stupid computer crapped out on me while the disc was in the drive, so I've lost one of my seventeen (!) precious floppies.
^_^ Apparently, today I look like 'a bush with legs'. This had mJ in fits of laughter for several minutes. I like my green hippy clothes! Methinks, however, that 'shrubbery' wasn't the best alternative to 'bush'. I also have a circular bruise on my foot, which entertains me, even though if the chair leg had lacked the rubber cap I'd now have a circular hole in my foot. Meh.
