rant and poetry, such a combination

Argh. Why is it every time I want to go to bed early events conspire to keep me up? Yesterday I couldn't go to bed because Harry decided, just as I was about to get ready for bed, that he wanted to install a CD rewriter on my computer. Today, mum got caught on the phone and is going to be late picking up my sister and her friends from ATC, which means I have to stay up because her friend's dad is going to get here much earlier than they are. I'm in my pyjamas, and was actually gettting into bed when this news was delivered. Wonder what he'll think?

Well, going to do somehitng productive: I wrote a poem a few days ago. It's odd, somtimes I go through a phase of writing hundreds (most of them crap) sometimes it doesn't even occur to me. I decided a while ago I'd stick things like poems on here and my blog, so ta-da:

Unrequited love
I think of how it could have been,
I think of how it should have been,
I know it never could have been.

I think of you, I think of me,
I think of ways that it could be.
I watch and look and stare and see
And know that it could never be.

No matter how I feel for you
And dream of things I'd never do
I know that I would never say
In any place, in any way.

You think you know me, but you don't.
I wantto tell you but can't, won't.
I pray that this will go away
As I repress it every day.

I'm not scared of how I feel,
I know what's what and this is real.
I know that you don't feel the sam,
I'd ruin our friendship, be to blame.

I can't do that, it's too dear
To me and you, so I write here
The way i fel, what I can't say
Out loud, and dream the day away.

I think of how it could have been,
I think oof how it should have been,
I know it never would have been.

It's angsty, adolscent and partially based on real life, but magnified. Just so you know. ^_^ Typical teenaged poetry, really. I swear, I can write better stuff than this, but I can write a hell of lot worse as well.

Do you have adobe photoshop or photoshop elements? You can resize images in there. I don't think you can do it in paint, and I don't have any other image altering programs, so...

If you don't have adobe, I'd be happy to play around with any images you want me to make. ^_^

I need ideas for images first. Can't think of anything typically me. Or anything typical, really.

Hmm . . . difficult. Okay, how about you pick a favourite anime character, pick a favourite image of that character, and get me to make you a picture of him/her. It's a start, anyway - and you're allowed up to 3 images. ^_^ Hence the Setsuna. You'll probably think of other things later, and then you can figure out exactly what you want. Searching for images on google is a good thing - how do you think I found the frogwoman?

You know, it's really weird that we're having this conversation here instead of at college. . . . Oh well. ^_^
