I have a cunning plan. You see, I'm really quite stressed. Falling asleep is going to be hard, staying asleep harder, and the sleep I get will be pretty poor. The big essay needs a lot more work, and the latin might benefit from further study (though otherwise it's all packed up and ready to go). Also, I'm really sick of waking up dehydrated.

Are you ready for the cunning bit?

I don't go to sleep.

I've not actually tried to pull an all-nighter before. I feel I've kinda failed myself as a student. To be honest, I doubt I'll actually do it tonight, but knowing I've got the option is helping me stay a bit calmer. I'll probably get bored around 2 AM (though I'd be getting my second wind, so to speak). And after a certain point I'd probably be writing jibberish anyway. I can always sleep after I've handed the essay in (getting there early is important, because by midday all but one printer will have broken down on campus and no one will know which printer it is that's still working), and still go down to the Charles for post English-essay-handing-in drinks (I owe several people some).

Eh, who knows. It's a plan, at least.

I've done all-nighters. I don't recommend the experience unless you like the whole out of body thing.

I've never pulled an all nighter, although I did rewrite an entire 5000 word archaeology essay for my MA in 24 hours before the deadline. By hand. And then typed it up. Oh, and it rocked most awesomely, proving that last minute stuff really can be good!

Good luck for this, I really hope everything goes to plan and you do manage to get some sleep as well as making the essays shiny and getting them in on time.

I'd pull an all nighter with you for the moral support, but I think I need sleeps if I'm going to swim tomorrow afternoon. If you're not asleep or getting tipsy, come swim with me? 3pm, Yearsley, I'll be leaving mine at 2.20.

I had a big problem sleeping at the end of my degree. You have my sympathies! (Herbal remedies proved to be surprisingly effective)

Still an all nighter not going to do you any harm in the long run (this is a medical fact!). They're worth doing once at least.

I hope everything goes well for you! I'll be ready to congratulate you tomorrow.

Sleep is for the weak!

*hugs* Sorry you're so stressed, anyway.
