20/5/07 09:26 pmI have a cunning plan. You see, I'm really quite stressed. Falling asleep is going to be hard, staying asleep harder, and the sleep I get will be pretty poor. The big essay needs a lot more work, and the latin might benefit from further study (though otherwise it's all packed up and ready to go). Also, I'm really sick of waking up dehydrated.
Are you ready for the cunning bit?
I don't go to sleep.
I've not actually tried to pull an all-nighter before. I feel I've kinda failed myself as a student. To be honest, I doubt I'll actually do it tonight, but knowing I've got the option is helping me stay a bit calmer. I'll probably get bored around 2 AM (though I'd be getting my second wind, so to speak). And after a certain point I'd probably be writing jibberish anyway. I can always sleep after I've handed the essay in (getting there early is important, because by midday all but one printer will have broken down on campus and no one will know which printer it is that's still working), and still go down to the Charles for post English-essay-handing-in drinks (I owe several people some).
Eh, who knows. It's a plan, at least.
