5/5/07 02:34 pmYou know what'd be nice? Tests that don't automatically asume you're American, and ought to have a good knowldge of US geography. Now, if they asked how many counties there were on the south coast... I'd still have had to guess. But I'd have had a marginally better idea.
Essay is currently not going. It will again soon (it has to). Only another 800 words before the end of the day, right? If I don't finish before six, I shan't be coming by the house of pun for Who, I'm afraid. It's free comic book day, but I can't really afford to go wandering into town, either. Just gotta keep plugging away, really.

Date: 5/5/07 03:16 pm (UTC)Tell me about it. I took "The Everything Test" a month ago (probably still the latest post in my lj), and it could have been renamed "The US Knowledge and Masturbation Test". (3+ pages of questions on masturbation habits. WTF?) Apparently, the only non-US cities worth visiting are Paris, London and Sidney. Oh, and have you ever visited the country of Europe? I've been there. It's nice. :P
I'm moving to your country again, by the way. Hope you don't mind sharing. :D

Date: 5/5/07 03:43 pm (UTC)Cool! Another year at a uni here, or something else this time?
I took the Everything Test, but gave up halfway through due to the American bias. The list of places visited really bugged me in particular. I don't mind a few assumptions, especially if they own up to them first, but the narrowmindedness of some of the questions meant some of it was complete nonsense.

Date: 5/5/07 09:33 pm (UTC)The test concluded that my single self was more sexually experienced than the married Belgian on my f-list. I think his husband might take offense at that. XD
Wasn't the only political question about US immigration policies? Because that's something the whole world worries about...
