Anria very kindly sent me the files for a cross frames menu, but there had to be some problem, didn't there... One of the fles is PHP, and Fateback has a PHP allergy. I'm going to give it a go anyway and uploda, or possibly see if i can make it work without the php file, but this is slowly getting more and more aggravating. Now confused as to what to do with all these files, but that's nothing new ^_^ I'll figure it out.

Still getting feedback for that fic. Still slightly alarmed, but pleased ^_^ Wrote a similar one to see if I can get more!

I have several people on my friends list I have never spoken to or contacted in any way. Some of the best fanfic authors I've found. Slightly unnerved to find one added me back! *shy wave* Hello Rowan. I started reading your Buffy fanficiton about three years ago. It's amazing. So's all of the fanficiton I've read you've written.

Oh shoot, I do need that PHP file.

So, that's what, four menus I've tried now that won't work? Even if I don't bother with the cross frames thing I still can't get the links to work properly. Maybe I should be less ambitious and just stick a row of text links in the top frame and forget the whole menu thing altogether. I really need to update, so as a temporary solution it has its appeal.

I keep forgetting I'm not on study leave any more, so I have to get up tomorrow morning. Argh!

New idea! Hush hush though, I'll surprise people. ^_^ I think it's a good idea. I give up on JS and CSS and HTML and DHTML and PHP and DAT and everything else I've tried. Many thank to Anriahere! ^_^ )

Uh, Min, you don't need the php file. . . . It's just what gets linked to. Trust me on this, you can delete it and change the links. It's not needed, and if you want I can alter it and send it to you without any trace of php in it.

The php is just to do with the links. In the .js files, wherever it says "history.php" is where you put the filename you link to. It's just the same as "history.html", but it makes it easier for the creator of the browser to have multiple page content from only one file. I've played around with this before, and you do NOT need any form of php in this browser. I used it on Demented Minds, for crissakes, do you think I'd have done that if it needed php?

oo... You clever person, me tired and frustrated person. It was about 10:30 when I actually got hold of those files, and I was at that point of hyper that slips into exhausted at the slightest hint of difficulty.
I'm going to hang on to all the files, so next time I redo the site I wil use it. Better yet, I might use it on femmedelalune, since that's got the same cross frame problem.

Another thing - the link on the main page of your site is wrong, and you've forgotten a file in the frames part so fateback comes up with a 404 which takes up the whole page because it expands over the frame. Just thought you'd like to know. ^_^

fixed that now. Wasn't the only one problem, but I thikn it should all function so-so. Just noticed that despite multiple edits I still didn't manage to get all the links coding in the post right. That's what you get for posting at 11pm ^_^
