11/3/07 10:02 amThe oral storyteeling lastnight was brilliant. Loved it. Picked up every bit of paper I could find about more information and other storytelling and so on (and one to say 'yes, I would come to a storytelling group in York, dear god yes'). And bought a CD for mum's birthday. I shall be good, and send it to her still in its plastic wrapping and not copy it until I go home during the summer. It has Sir Gawain and the Green Knight on it.
Thoughts of such, though, have got me thinking of what I'm goiing to do on the coach jjourney to Bruges. Aside from "get a train". Because my MP3 player has about 8 hours of battey life, and only charges from a computer. So I can listen on the way there, but not while I'm there, or on the way back.
I wonder how much a spare battery would be?

Date: 11/3/07 10:47 am (UTC)We're easily pleased.
btw - Robbie is the chair of the band, Jon is the treasurer (he might be mentioned), I'm the conductor/tour manager and Graham is the other conductor who isn't going. Phil McPhee is an ex-member who started the whole "do not touch me" thing. And expect people to call me 'Moik' making pigeon noises. I'll explain that one later!
