I'm not getting a lift in ,so extra time online this morning. The person who I get a lift with is having driving lessons. ...no, she doesn't drive us to college, her mother does.

Why is it talking about University always puts me in such a bad mood? The more people try to pressure me into one thing, the more likely I am to do the other. When everyone thought IT wasn't a good idea, I stood by it, but a comment from someone at school changed my mind completely and now I want to do English. So, of course, everyone is asking why I don't want to do IT and wouldn't that be themore useful degree and am i sure about English... The result? More determined than ever to do English, even though I'm not completely keen on hte idea.

yikes. time goes fast. off to College!

I'm an English major myself. I think it is a cool thing to study while you actually there, but I don't see myself with much oppurtunity after I get my degree. I get the feeling that with an English degree you kind of limit yourself to teaching, which may not be such a bad thing. Definite Mixed feelings.

I did want to be a teacher, but I'd rather teach college or University. Main ambition is to be a writer, so its useful there.

I'm good at English. This I know. ITaking a degree in it won't teach me anything new, just prefect teh skills I've got. Usful skills, but I'm probably going to end up relying on people hiring me because i've got a degree, as opposed to an English degree.
