What I ought to be doing: Reading the one and a half essays I have left for English, and the essay (and the poem) I have for Latin.

What I am doing: Writing Greenhelm and listening to Fairground Attraction.

The link ultharkitty posted the other day helped me get back into it, for however long I am. If you're stuck, kill a character. Well, I can't kill a character, since this is the rewrite and they're all rather present in the rest of the book, but there is an attempted murder I've got to write. I've been trying to build up some more characterisation beforehand, but it's just feeling like filler. I shall post some later, to see what people think of the progression of Ethan and Ivy's relationship.

Also, what is it about politely asking people to format posts in a certain way within a community that suddenly prompt people to do the exact opposite? All of a sudden, a lot of members of torch_wood seems to besuffering from either laziness or spite. It took barely a day for the rule to be reposted. I think it's a little restrictive in terms of knowing what a fic is about before reading it, but all a reader has to do is click the cut; it's not exactly a huge effort. And now scans_daily is having issues with people editting tags to insult other members. The hell?

Some people are evidently awkward, spiteful bastards with too much time on their hands!

As for the Greenhelm, woo! I'm glad you're writing. I'm a firm believer in creative writing being good for the academic process (and vice versa).

Sod the essays for now, you can always read at Anime :P
