19/12/06 10:28 amToday, I am going to try to take myself to the cinema. I want to see Casino Royale, which very few other people seem to, and since I have been reminded that I'm being taken to see Eragon on Christmas Eve (we are developing something of a Fantasy tradition, but I've still yet to hear anything good about the book apart from people who've never read any other fantasy), I thought I'd treat myself. It's at 3 at City Screen, if people want to join me - I just hope I can get there, since I have an appointment on campus at 2:05.
I seem to be having a be-nice-to-me day. Started with a fry up ^_^ Vegetarians, Vegans, and those who don't eat pork, look away now, because mmmmm bacon. Bacon and eggs from the butchers, really thick cut bacon. Surprisingly salty, but that made the eggs taste good. I still have four eggs left, so I might be getting some more bacon to repeat this performance (Toast doesn't eat eggs). This is the second day in a row I've felt abruptly queasy in the morning, and I'm blaming my appalling diet (chocolate for breakfast! And every other meal). Hence, real breakfast.
We watched Edward Scissorhands last night; it's the first time I've seen it. I wasn't allowed to watch it as a kid (in an 'I won't stop you' way) because it was too depressing. I get that now. Also, Johnny Depp is strange, sort of puppy-fattish. It did give me plot bunnies though.
Right! Final readthrough, and then Yuletide submission. It's about 25000 words long. Oops ^_^
