mad enough to spit

minervasoloHaving decidd to forget about birthda, mother decide to start bugging me about it this morning, When I told her I wasn't particularly intrested in doing anything she told not to... can't remember the precise words, but basically not to spite myself. I know when I'm doing something to spite myself, and here I am not. Argh.
On hte other hand, all the Uni open days fall on the week before my birthday, which will make organising anything hard. Cambridge general open day is the Thursday before, and most Uni's are between thrusady and monday. Yep, I'm doing prospectus ravaging now. Sitting in a pile of paper and prospectuses, writing lust upon list upon list. I now have ten Uni's that look interesting enough to be worth visiting, but one is Durham, which is a _long_ way, so prolly won't visit that one. Still, many more lists to write. Ranking by courses, distance, 'prestige' (can't think of a better word for it), campus, cost... Because, you know, I could just sit down and make some decisions, but ranking unis by attributes that I really don't give a damn about is so much more fulfilling. Plus it gives me something to do all day.
