Service Pack 2 is making my computer run /very/ slowly. I'm watching the letters appear one at a time, and surfing the internet has a distinctly early nineties feel to it. I just sat and watched thatwhole sentence appear. It's funny when it goes backwards because I deleted something ^_^ Put it this way, I turned the computer on before six. It was half six before it was anything like useable, and it's still going at snail's pace now. I just hope this is a one time only thing, due to the install.

I'm going to give the laptop a clean out and a defrag, to see if that helps. It's a little better this morning, but it stilltook more than 10 minutes. The borwser's still going slowly, and it won't let me do anything until the page fully loads.

I wonder if the browser issues are deliberate? To try and get people back to IE, which is just so poor compared with others. I love my tabs - I don't even like surfing the web at uni, because I can't have my tabs. And god knows IE has so many security holes in it.
