2/10/06 12:40 pmI want to do something productive, but I have the essay open and it's not going anywhere. I need to cut some words, I need to fiddle with the conclusion, I probably need to rewrite the whole damn thing... I can't summon the enthusiasm, because I can't shake the feeling that despite all the research and the fact I really wanted to do this, it's a crap essay.
What I want to do right now, and what I probably ought to be doing, is the magazine. But I've come to a standstill on that, because I've run out of things to lay up. I had it open for hours yesterday, but there was nothing I could actually do with it. It's frustrating. And frightening, since we really want to get this to the printers by Firday at the latest. We've still not ehard from the SU regarding Fresher's Fayre, and I'm pretty certain we're still not the only ones. This is ridiculous.
Oh well. Back to occasional poking of the essay, and reading Cavendish. At least getting the reading done counts as productive, right?
It's going to be so restful when term begins.
