minervasoloWandeirng around Girls in COmics again, and found the mission statment for myslexia. It's very interesting, and drew my attention to what really ought to be blatantly obvious. Now, I know a lot of women who write. Real life, online, so on. I know a lot who are very good. I also own a lot of book. Most of them are by men.
It's the disparity, basically. More women write, but more men get published. It's disheartening and almost a little creepy.
At some point, I shall do a wailywailywoe feelings post. Or, you know, keep putting it off until I'm all bright and perky again anyway. I think stress and lack of sleep is getting to me at the mo, and uneven eating patterns. We got back at 10 to 10 last night, having last eaten at 1, and I was both shattered and starving. Low blood sugar makes me cranky, it does.
