Not the best of days...
5/6/03 05:45 pmList:
* Maths Stats exam (think I'll drop stats next year)
* IT exam
* water bottle leaked all over my notes
* phone died as a result of water leakage
* top is all wet due to water leakage, it's cold, I'm cold, it's not good
* calculator batteries ran out on the last question of maths, which really really needed the calculator. Survived on doing most of it by hand, but I need my calculatior for both this afternoon and tomorrow (especially tomorrow!). It also meant I couldn't check most of my answer.
* Maths exam was hard
* IT exams was boring.
* ran out of water (oh the irony!)
* calculator broke (this so bad it deserves two entries. _really_ need that calculator)
* bag wet and being a pain in the arse in general bag-like-ways as well
* No sleep last ngiht, due to worrying about exams and girly problems. Oh, and louts who nick cars having suddenly moved into our road and making loads of noise at night
... of course, most of these are my own fault. I didn't check the lid was on the bottle properly, hence much wetness and brokeness. The calculator is going to worry me, since I either need to find a new one or buy some batteries tonight. My sister's scientific calculator runs on solar power as well as batteries, but the displays really faint and it works differently to mine. Eep.
Phone has died, it has ceased to be, it is an ex-phone. And hence, there is a silver lining, since darling mother has offered to get me a new one and claim hte money back from the government. Being self-employeed has that nifty ittle benefit, you see, since she'll say she needs it for business and hopefully they won'tnotice she's using her partner's old brick of a phone while I have shiny new one. See me be silver-lining girl!
Actually, exa,ms were okay, in okayish way. Pretty much what I expected. mJ reintroduced me to Neopets. I killed all my pets the first time I did this, but suddenly it seems oddly entertaining. PLus there are so many ways to kill them it's positively fun ^_^
