minervasoloNew MP3 player ^____^ It's so tiny! I'm scared I'll drop it (like the others). But so shiny, and I think it looks cute (had that dsicussion...). I've finally figured out how to work it, and it's got 1400 songs on it now. I can also use it like a USB pen, and stick bits of Greenhelm and stuff on there, though I'm not sure when I'd need to.
I really want to wander into town tomorrow, just to use it some more. Perhaps I could go to the library... That's a good length walk, and depending where I am on essay I can say hi to people at King's Manor.
'Essay' being the important part of the sentence. After going over it with Toast, rewriting is occurring. Hopefully, I now have an argument as well as a topic. I think it's about time I acknowledged I'm shite at university level essays. Le Sigh. But then, who knows, this one might be okay. I'm pretty certain I've scuppered my chances of a first, but I might be able to scrape something with a 2 in it yet. And I can always write extra essays. Once I know what I'm doing, of course.
It occurs to me: I also dreamt last night that the shop I work at is closing, which gave me impetus to apply at Travelling Man, who really do have openings right now. Twould be cool to work there, but I'm happy where I am, and it's flexible and cash-in-hand. Plus, geek as I am, I don't think I know quite enough to work at Travelling man. I could tell you something about a few comics, and a few animes/mangas, but otherwise I don't have much general knowledge. But I'll probably still drop by tomorrow and see what days they're looking for! I can still do Fridays...

OMG I want to see your new MP3 player! Maybe you could find a bouncy case to put it in so that if you do drop it, it doesn't matter. I drop Vladimir all the time and he's fine, possibly because of the leather and cardboard case I made him *shrugs*
