The landlord's going to just adore us tomorrow. So far we have drainpipe coming off of the house, one broken bed (I just sat down too hard, I swear!), the toilet seat detached from the toilet, and, oh yes, a large number of tiles now on the floor in tjhe toilet where before they were on hte ceiling. If someone had been in there when that happened they could have been badly hurt. We may also have a water bill to give him. Poor man.

Also, got a load of post this morning. It's nice when that happens, especially when it includes a phone charger (woohoo) and some chocolates ^_^ Also got a food intolerance test thing back. According to which, the only meat I can eat is lamb. Oh, and fish (which I can't). Also shouldn't have eggs or milk (I've been eating eggs almost daily recently), and I shouldn't have wheat, oats or barley. Essentially, my body reacts badly to anything except salad, rice, rye, and some nuts and seeds.

Okay, stuff the meat advice. I'm iron deficient as it is, and I need the protein. Okay, so I'll stop eating eggs, and guess it's time to get back into black tea again. I'll have to keep a better eye out for gluten too.

I wonder why i so rarely update any more, and how I managed to update so often in the first place. Oh well.

It's about £200, so you have to be pretty sure! It's the YorkTest. They send you a kit, and you prick your finger and soak up the blood, and send it back to them. Really simple, but it does cost a lot (especially when they send you back a diet that will kill you!)

Apparently it's probably a protein thing. If you give a baby protein (and, I suspect, anything else) too early they become allergic - hence the obvious fish allergy, and the general protein intolerance. My diet's going to be a little odd for a bit while I work out what is worth cutting out and what isn't. I don't think it's actually possible to survive on the foods they left me with!
