minervasoloPeople do not realise how bright the hall light makes my room. 4am last night, I had to get out of bed and switch it off. Not impressed. That and the very loud talking downstairs were keeping me awake. I can see why Anria wasn't overly impressed on New Year's, when she was trying to sleep. It's an old house which carries sound remarkably well.
FrontPage is being bloody annoying. It seems to suffer sporadic memory loss, so that when I save something and it crashes later on, it recalls some of what I did before the save but not everything, so my text is a patchwork of sizes. I should be more patient with it, since apparntly I'm asking it to do too much at once, but I've been trying to resize this fic for four days now.
Grand prix weekend. I'd actually forgotten, which is unusual for me. Still got loads of revision to do, but i want to sort the website out first. Yeah, my priorities are so very much the right way round.
Kids I babysit for came round yesterday. Abandoned revision to watch 'the quest for camelot' with them. Not a bad film, actually, from an adult watching a kid's film point of view. Though watching the teletubbies immediately afterwards probably sent it rocketing in my estimation. Then spent the day revising and sunbathing. Well, sunbathing, mostly. Actally found my bikini as well, which still fits despite being five years old now. I am not brown, but I have increased my potential to go borwn. Oky, actually I jsut increased my potential to get skin cancer, since with my skin colour I am never ging to be anyother than pasty, but it was warm and pleasent.
