Grr.

So the book I ordered on Thursday, and paid extra for next day delivery on, still hasn't arrived (no post on Sundays, but regardless). All of the library copies are taken out and the key texts copies are booked till monday. All I can do is hope the book arrives monday morning, and it's short enough for me to get through. Unfortunately, I didn't take down the order number from the screen, since last time ibuk was so prompt and helpful (and got the book there next day when I didn't pay extra for it), so I can't rant at them and get money back.

Grr. At me.




Today, therefore, shall mostly be spent washing up, hovering, and watching many mexican films. And signing the lease so we get the house again next year.

I think you should still complain as you did pay extra for a speedier delivery. It should have arrived Friday. End of. It's your right and it doesn't particularly matter if they were speedy on an earlier delivery - sometimes the same thing happens with Amazon and their free delivery service - so, I think you should, not because I'm evil or petty, but because in this particular case it mattered and they didn't provide the service they promised.

The problem is, I didn't keep the order code, so they've got no idea which order I'm talking about. I might have a go anyway, describing the order, but first I think I need to check if the payment actually went through. The internet's been very odd about my card recently, insisting it's Solo when it's actually Maestro.
