60% of the time, I can now stick on hand in the air for at least two seconds without falling off. Maybe 10% of the time I manage this without careening into imaginary traffic. I'm pretty certain I should not be allowed on roads yet, but I'm definitely better than I was this morning. Even if my hands do really hurt because my handlebars seem to be designed in such a way as to make you very unwilling to hold on to them. And I'm still finding it hard to push off, which I swear I never had a problem with as a child. I suspect there will be more cycling around the river before I dream of going out on the roads on my own. I can just about follow Toast.

Oh, and I totally blinker myself. I have no clue about traffic, other cyclists, pedestrians, dogs... Okay, so I notice the dogs, but part of me isn't really concerned about stopping for them.

(on the other hand, all this is giving me a chance to play with my new icon. Tiny robins!)

I'm about to ressurect my bike from the rust pile it has become, so if you need any working dooing (like new grips or a handlebar) I'd be quite willing to do it (assuming that you or Toast aren't perfectly capable in the first place, that is).
