12/10/05 09:02 pmSo, did people listen to the show? Did they enjoy it?
You missed it? Naughty persons. It's still available on playback (or whatever it's called), and the techdiff team return on Friday at the later time of 9PM. Tonight, you missed Olympia's Opening, Battle of the Beer, an impromptu striptease and some very good music. You also missed out on the chance to win a very bright orange t-shirt. Silly persons.
...Seriously, though, I know I'm totally over-pimping this, but it's a great show, and it deserves more than its usual 8 listeners. Student radio stations never get the love they deserve, and URY is one of the oldest (possibly the oldest) and (okay, I'm a little biased here) one of the best. If you usually have music playing while you're online, or something like BBC radio online, why not make the switch? It's good fun, and you're showing your support for an often disregarded medium.
And even more seriously, I really am interested to know if anyone listened. Especially if any of you sent emails, though it seemed to be a predominantly male email list, while I know the majority of you are female.
