Actuality: Spent more than three hours playing with html ^_^ Been messing around with my new WK site, trying to find some way of sorting the fanfiction. I was inspired by Saber Shadowcat, who wrote so many BtVS fanfictions she had a page for almost every possible pairing. So I spent almost two hours playing with tables and (a name) html to make a nice little table of possible pairings and the ones I've actually written for. An alarmingly large number of my fics seem to have Omi/Nagi in, wihch I hadn't realised. Prior to playing with pairings I did a much simpler version, in which each fic only appears once.
I haven't put any of the fics up, but the protosite is here. I'm going to fill this with css as well, but I haven't got that far yet. The fanfiction page is here, with links to my experiments. The pairing page seems to complicated, while the fictype page is so simplistic it's not really necesary. If I ever get the hang of frames I'll probably play about with it some more so it acts more like a real search engine. I didn't want to create hundred of different pages for different pairings. Things is, I know how to do this with MS Access, but it wouldn't look quite so nifty. I just have to figure out how to make FrontPage do the same.
