I got back at about 5:30 today. The place stank of something burnt (rice, I suspect, having found a pan soaking). The fans are on full, the window's open and so the door of the flat, and it still stinks. Even in my room.

Watching Kilroy and the gypsies makes Kilroy look worryingly good. You can tell he used to be a talk show host. He'd make a pretty good diplomat, as long as you filmed him. I'm far from happy about his political leanings, and he's a pampered little so-and-so, but he's good at making people sit down and talk, and he did seem to understand and sympathise with the travellers.

Anyway, hi! How are you today? I'm Dr Megalomania and I recently got into Northstar and Iceman slash. I'm friending you because I'm holding out on a hope that you will update 'Caffeine and Saccharine' very, very soon. (I read it all today, it's bloody good!).
Also, quite a fluke really but I live in Surrey too ...So how many people have (upon finding out this little nugget of info)have asked you: "Like where Harry Potter lives?!"

Hee ^_^ Hello! Welcome to the insanity. Northstar/Iceman is good, isn't it? Glad you like C&S. Hopefully, there'll be some updates soon, since I have a nice long easter break and not a lot to do. Even if there aren't, it isn't abandoned. I refuse to abandon fics. Even if everyone thinks I have, becuase it's been 6 months without an update and the fic in question is over 2 years old... Anyway, I can give you links to some other brilliant N/I fics, if you want. Always good to spread the love. Make sure you join Speedsicle, the community.

I did a rec's entry (http://www.livejournal.com/users/minervasolo/239009.html) a while ago, which has some other fandoms you might be interested in too. It's actually quite hard to find very long N/I fics, but Beaubier's site (http://beaubier.freeservers.com/) has loads of Northstarry goodness on it and unfrozen (http://alykat.hispeed.com/unfrozen/) is chockablock with Bobbylicious fun (and I'm beginning to enjoy these silly suffixes a little too much...). The internet ate the fanlisting site (it used to hold all the best fics too, but I guess it got too large), though go speedsicle for hundreds of fics. I could have sworn it used to have them all sorted in the memories section... There's a FFN 'thingy' (http://www.fanfiction.net/c2/12075/0/1/) for the pairing which has plenty of joy in it.

Hopefully that will entertain you for, ooh, three minutes? ^___^
