I was talking to Chicago Mike until 2:20 last night. All one conversation, having left the Indian at about 11:30. Indian meal was great (Chicken Lahoree firmly reccomended now) and it was a good night all round. I think I may have been being dense again though... I'm trying to remember if I mentioned I had a boyfriend. Oops. ^_^

A fun and shiny thing

Today must be spent doing mag stuff. I'm far too hot, and rahter tired, and not that interested, but there's a meeting at 4. I'm hoping this'll excuse me from the later one. To borrow from the Durham Dictionary, they're all a bit Rah. It's a clubbing club, really, which occasionally produces a magazine. I might continue next term, but after that it's a question of company versus CV. I enjoy what I do, but not how it's run, right now.

Nice Hair has updated. W0ot ^_^ Something Positive is also on top form today.

I need to find some compromise between waking up early because I'm too hot and waking up early because it's too loud. I can't leave the window open on week days because the bloody builders start at 7:30. It's the only way of cooling the room though. Doesn't help it's cold when I go to bed, so I've got the blanket and everything, which leaves me roasting in the morning. Geh, I'm still too hot now. Should have had a colder shower.

There's something about Alcuin housing, it seems to have some inate heating source within it. Perhaps its built on radiactive waste. I have the same problem, if I keep the window open I get woken by the sound of lorrys thundering past around eight.

I don't understand the logic behind Alcuin heating. The turn all the radiators on in the middle of the night so it's baking first thing in the morning, but they're off all day no matter how cold it is. Our kitchen is always baking. Gets the sun all day, plus it's over two other kitchens, and people keep forgetting to turn the oven off.

Grrr. Warm Alcuin. Live in scummy James B block, big windows and heating I can control...or stay up so late that you have no choice but to be a heavy sleeper!

Forgive me for being dense...but why does it matter if you mentioned having a boyfriend?

coz I kinda started getting the impression that it matter matter to him whether I was single or not. But I've probably got completely the wrong end of the stick anyway.

0.o No offense anywhere, unless you're offended. I was mostly just amused at myself. I meant that I was probably reading things in his actions that weren't there anyway, so it hardly mattered.

I've just realised how warm it is today!
Sometimes my body is slow and needs time to catch up.

Yes. It is hatefully warm today. I love the Summer with all its sun-shiney greenness but I cannot abide the horrible heat!

Spring is always the season for me, closly followed by autumn. Summer and Winter can become a bit monotonous.
