15/3/05 04:36 pmEvidence suggests last post came across a lot more irritated and dictatorial than I meant it to. Sorry!
A whole 'nother day sans accomplishments. I started writing Greenhelm, decided I needed a new map, then had to draw a whole variety of family trees, then decided I needed to sort out the peerage issues. Now I have pages of notes of cameo characters and a map I can't read the words on. One day I really will just trace the British Isles and write on that. It would make life so much easier. I also need to visit more of our fair country and work out wht the terrain is like all over. I suspect I have countries growing crops on solid rock and training architects with chalk and sand. of course, since the map is only for my benefit, hopefully no one will ever notice this.
Tonight, going out for an Indian with the flat. Seeing as I tend not to particularly like Indian food this ought to be interesting. Still, I really haven't spent enough time with the flatmates recently. I barely see some of them these days. Doesn't help when I get into 'avoidy' moods and end up eating at half ten because I don't feel like going into the kitchen when someone else is in there.
I really have to do more mag work. It's all meant to be done by the end of this week, and I've only been sent two articles! Putting it off til tomorrow. Of course, that decision was made on the basis that I'd get at least a chapter of Greenhelm written today, and some reading done. Oops.
EDIT: The ITN News and Weather team all just did the broadcast with paper bags over their heads. o.0
