Okay, more experimentation with css has resulted in <a href:http://femmedelalune.fateback.com/main_expt.htm>this</a>. The links are supposed to be silver without any underlining or whatnot. Funny how it hasn't worked when they're just links, but the visited inks an d'hovoer' is working just fine. Anyone who wants to point out the glaringly obvious errors in the <a href:http://femmedelalune.fateback.com/core_style.css>stylesheet</a>, go ahead. If it's anything like last time, with the 'budly spuled' link...
I#'ve spent two and a half hours doing this. I didn't know I could focus on one thing that long! Especially when most of the time has been spent trying to make it look liket the original. I've finally got the background back to black (that's been the work of almost an hour now), but the text at the bottom is still setting to default, i.e. albo black, and the links are being right buggers, and they're the only reason I started this in the first place! Still, much accomplished for one day. It looks almost exactly like it did to start with, minus some text and some formating... The scrollbar feels a bit glaring, a bit too gothic. Perhaps in pink and grey?
So, no more Frankenstein read. Going to be busy tomorrow...
