(no subject)

Agh. Irritated at library. There were a grand total of two books, according to the search, that bore any relevance to what I want to write about. One is out on three week loan, the other in the minster library, and I don't even know where that is. So I have absolutely no notes to help me, and most of my research will be off LION.

I ended up going and shopping instead, and came back with loads of food I didn't need and can't fit in the freezer. I shouldn't even be eating potato anyway! Luckily, I made it back jjust before it started to snow really hard again, though I don't think any of it settled.

I may edit this later and add some fic or something. For those who recently friended me: no, this isn't an unusual number of updates in a day for me!

hey there min, don't know how it works in your libary, but usually, if you take the number of the book, and search alonside where they are located, the shelf, the nearest numbers you can locate books of a simular theme, then just look in the index.

that little trick has saved my life numerous times.

I've tried it before, but since the only book that the catalogue claimed was in the library seemed to be in a non-existant category (A28? Where is A28? There are no damn As!) and I was really feeling pretty half heart anyway (^_^) I let it be. I shouldn't have, but hopefully I'll be able to blag it for now. It's just a 'practise' essay.
