Edit (so as not to spam friends page) - Is anyone else rather disturbed by the fact KY are advertising on TV? It's not the usual lube, and it's after the watershed, but damn! I thought condoms were bad enough.

Though the ad for the Channel 4 Political awards actually makes me want to watch it. Blair/Brown 4eva!! ^__^


Also, enough with the Valentine's films. There's three film ads per break. And none of them look even remotely appealing! There's too much pimping of 'secondary' holidays these days. We've got both mother's and father's day (Mother's Day I don't mind, since it has a historical basis, but since us girls aren't all maidservants and it's not one of the only days we get off a year...), Hallowe'en and St Patrick's Day and they're trying to ressurect St George's day (which makes more sense, but oh well). Still, all the merchandising is overlapping. You've still got Christmas stuff in store when Valentine's appears, and Easter eggs arrive in January, before even the Mother's Day stuff.
