Essay writing not getting very far. Might be the 189 word Dickens quote I typed out, or the fact I've got Queen playing. I'm very tempted to go shopping. Actually, I want to be by the canal outside Sainsbury's in Godalming, but shopping will have to be a substitute. I have reasons, too: the fridge destroyed most of my vegetables and I'm short on meat. I'd also like to get my hands on first disc of Cowboy Bebop series, and Shaun of the Dead, and the new Authority tpb, and some jogging bottoms and decent trainers and new jeans.

On the other hand, did say I'd get at least half this essay written. I really ought to do a proper plan for it, which would help me along. And I ought to be waiting to hear about house signing, as I will be needed for such things. And it would be better if money stayed in account until such time as bond is paid. Shopping can happen tomorrow. But then, so can essay writing.

Le sigh.

If I stick at the essay long enough, it'd be pointless to go into town anyway. And enthusiasm is waning to go all that way and in all probability come back with nothing, or nothing I couldn't get cheaper online.

Edit: Just ordered Shaun of the Dead, Vol1 of Cowboy Bebop and The Authority: Fractured Worlds on Amazon, which was cheaper than pretty much everywhere else I looked. Which means any shopping I might do in the near future will be food shopping, and maybe jeans. Somehow it's so easy to put off losing an excuse not to visit the gym ^_^

yes. that'd be the essay ^_^ I'm struggling to convince myself I'm hungry enough to want to go down and poke about a costcutters, but no luck there either. Essay hasn't changed in over an hour, and won't change for the rest of the day, no doubt. Stupid thing is I've got nothing better to do. Gyah!

And everything's cheaper on amazon. I hope this guy calls soon about the house. Give me something to do!

I'll be in working tonight to try and get stuff done tonight but I'll probably try and get up to Langwith Bar for 10ish for a brief respite.

I ought to go to writing soc, I suppose. I dunno. Just ordered stuff off amazon, and now I might actually go and convince myself I do need food from costcutters. I really ought to unplug the internet, but then I'd just be playing Spider Solitaire until my fingers seized up.

I'm going to be doing this essay friday morning - half asleep from thursday and refusing to eat til it's in, aren't I? ^_^

Unfortunately its all up to you :-) You know you'll do the essay by hook or by crook but you also know that it'll be better if you do it now...probably anyway...or at least tomorrow when its not a desperate rush. Not eating doesn't sound like much of a plan as you need blood sugar to think; though, odds on, you will be half asleep from Thursday, yes. I'd love to give advice but I'm doing exactly the same and the stuff I'm reading's not going in so I'm...putting it off 'til later when I'll be...less(?) tired.

Last picture slot full so I can't use that as a distraction now :-(

much liking for last picture ^_^ I think I'll give up on essay a bit longer. Maybe I'll go back to it this evening, or something. Anyway, went and bought food, all nice sugary stuff which'll have me bouncing for half a second and lethargic for several hours. As you say, I'll get the essay done no matter what. Inthe meantime, I might actually watch one of these DVDs I've bought and left sitting on the shelf. If you want to manage some more guilty prevarication, feel free to turn up.

Might try and get a couple more questions done now as the stuff for seminars seems to be on the easy bits of the reading (unfortunately its spread at random junctures throughout so I have to read all the head-melting bits too) and then roll around about 5ish?
