Childhood Regression was fun. I joint one musical statues (because everyone else got bored) and was the first to get chocolate in The Chocolate game. Toast won the Chocolate game :) but Head's glasses got broken in Blind Man's Buff :( I justs got very very high on sugar, briefly, which has probably taken me five steps closer to diabetes because I'm really meant to avoid extremes of blood sugar. I felt it this morning, when i woke up very hungry and slightly nauseus, my usual signs of low blood sugar. But there were party rings and alarmingly coloured drinks and jelly (Jelly!) and sherbet sweets and chocolate things and yay.

I've also finished issue one of Freefall, which is now up at it's own site, because it occured to me that those are some large images. Fateback's in a mood right now, so i can't tell whether it's not showing pictures because they aren't there, or they're mislinked or something, or because it simply doesn't feel like it.

See it! Gotta say, it's an ingenius concept. If you want me to scan any reference pages (I have a book or two full of poses to help me get my bearings, v. useful) gimme a yell. And keep it up!

that'd be really great, if you don't mind. I had to draw the second to last page three times before I realised I had her arms bending in the wrong direction. It still doesn't look as it does in my head, but I can live with it as it is.

give me a poke this evening and I'll scan you the poses and action sections from How to Draw Manga - they're mostly men but I'm sure it'll be a doddle to adapt them and bung in a few curves.

Do you realise that Americans are really bemused by jelly and icecream? Well, they are.

Well, I suppose it would be Jam and Ice cream, wouldn't it? Which is rather bemusing. But then, as a kid, i honestly thought people had peanut butter and (our) jelly sandwiches. Though peanut butter and jam is not something I'll ever quite work up the courage to try.

No even when they get Jelly=Jello, they can't get that Jelly+Icecream=special party food. They really don't get the idea of why it's the ultimate children's party food and everyone in my hall gets nostalgic every time it turns up on the menu.

How strange. Clearly they haven't tried it. With the wobbling and the cold and the mess you can make as a kid...

Not trying peanut butter and jam...now that is a pity Min!

Got them to and still didn't get it, but maybe that has something to do with the caterers' odd tendency to stick tinned fruit in the jelly, 'cause then it's "healthy", see?
