18/5/03 10:55 amWent for revision session yesterday. Spread books and paper across thefloor and absorbed. Yes, it's a valid revision method, applied by thousands of students across the country each year. And yes, it's those thousands who tend to fail, so there may be some actual reading of notes taking place today. Was going to be now, but the net lured me with it's lureness.
Okay, i have to stop using 'author alert' on FF.N as somewhere between 'favourite authors' and 'keeping an eye out for authors'. Checked my emails today found reams of 'author update' emails. Have people only just noticed its existence? I've been the only person i know to have it switched on for months, and suddenly everyone does!
X2 was bloody brilliant. Would have been better if (a) Nightcrawler was fuzzy (though I can understand how hard that would be with a real actor), (b) someone near had worn less perfume, since my eyes were watering during most of the film, and (c) the sound system in the cinema had worked properly. It was fine, then there'd be a slight bli, hten fine, then the back speakers suddenly went and the front ones came up twice as loud. It wasn't bad, but it was v discouncerting. Still, got pretty much all hte injokes, being such a comic geek, so much happy.
Actually, spent most of yesterday discussing Xmen, Buffy and anime with Anria and mJ. Revision turned into a 'watch cartoons and chat' session. We have to introduce him to Trigun, I have to see the end of the next season of Buffy and Anria has to see hte Angel episode form hte first season with Spike in it. oh, and hte Xmen cartoon people really need to stick to continuity properly if they're even oging to try. The Pheonix arc is great, but neither Gambit nor Rogue were around at that point! Where's Nightcrawler, where's Shadowcat?
Finger numb. need to learn me some math. ttfn
