Yay Hull!

Chris is now toast. Chris is now an as yet undefined sexually explicit act. I drew pictures, with fortunate hat. (have now just noticed double meaning of fortunate...)

Also good about Hull: the complete set of Indiana DVDs for £20, plus Holy Grail for £5 and 28 Days Later for £4. And The Deep, obviously, despite it's lack of Wobbegong. But many large and slow sharks, and urchins with scary eyes, and other such sea-type things. And getting to the station to find we had an hour and forty five minutes before the next train. Ouch.

Le toast

Do you know what ISP hosts snoo.org? I keep trying to find the page, but I can't remember what it's called and snoo.org has run out of bandwidth, so I can't use the link on there. Argh, this is driving me mad, mad I say!

Can't remember off the top of my head, no. I wonder what killed Snoo's bandwidth. I thought it was meant to be huge...

No worries, then. I'm thinking a large part of what killed snoo's bandwidth has to be [livejournal.com profile] shoebox_project. Why they'd use snoo to host the image files when there are free remote image hosting places with unlimited bandwidth is beyond me.

I think I know one, maybe two free remote image hosters with unlimited bandwidth, and they both have very low limits on how many pictures you can host. I host the majority of any images I want to direct link on solelyfictional, though most of them appear in the sites there anyway. Looking through scans_daily you realise how unreliable and awkward a lot of the image hosters can be. Those that have unlimited bandwidth tend to crash when under a lot of strain anyway, so you get the same result.

True. The best one I've found has been uploadimages.net, but that has recently started timing how long you've been on the site and deciding when "your session" has ended. Although seeing as there's no way to delete a picture of there once it's been put on there, it's not likely someone would want to put their art on it. Bah, whatever. ^_^
