Managed to make 'emergency' appointemtn with dr, oddly enough. Turns out it's probably just viral infection, maybe ear canal, maybe glandular. Basically, I hvae to take pain killers and grin and bear it. Not really worth going, was it?

I've been reading this horror novel on and off for about a week (i got distracted by Star Wars book). All of a sudden it's got quite good. Tho that might be my fangirlish glee when hte main character suddenly found out he was gay, and his frend was in love with him. But now they've wiped the sweet friend's memory and it's trying to be all horror again. *Pouts*

Going to see X2 tonight! Finally! much love for mother, who's spent most of today trying to convince the odeon online to give her tickets. It's still going to be mit or miss when we get there as to whether they actualy booked or whether we'll have to pay there. Alternately, we might have about a dozen seats by now.

got to go and read fanficito now. Haven't finished al the notes I meant to for today (still five pages left) but did much more dedicated work than I expected to. Apprarntly the cancan makes me more wiling to write. *shrugs* hey, if it works...

it's called Cuckoo. I judge books by their covers, and it was a very striking cover. All white with sticky red dying man on it. I'll probably end up bringing it with me today in my bag. Something to read in the car.
