Catching the train back up to Uni, which means I shall be without hiking boots, new alarm clock, ALE!! or many other things I had planned to bring back. Somehow made space for comics though... Still, I'll probably get through a fair bit of Oliver Twist. I love Dickens' sense of humour.

Poor mother is really not well. Apparently her throat is full of ulcers, and she hasn't felt this ill since she was a kid (when she was off for a year with mumps, measles and a bunch of other stuff that thought it was a good time to jump on the bandwagon that was her). Harry's getting better though. Both are well enough to bug me about bank stuff now. No one believes that I'm dealing with it. It's just all the stuff I need to deal is in York.

Note to self: milk, bread, cereal. Because otherwise I'm going to wake up on Saturday and have to go to work entirely empty, unless I have soup for Breakfast. Also, cash. Because cash is useful for obtaining the above. So maybe I should have sorted bank stuff out, you know, a while ago...

Desperate Housewives: I seem to like this far more than anyone else I've spoken to about it so far. It's all the insanely bright colours and Stepford-wive-ness of it, and the behind the scenes dissolution. Much love for the manipulative teenaged girl intent on getting her mother a date, and the woman who mows in her evening wear. I was convinced she was going to shred her dress, but no. Clearly, she's got some class. Anyway, it's that kind of dark satirical humour that always appeals to me, so I'll be watching more of that. And Jerry Springer: The Opera is on Saturday night, so I'll be watching that, too.

I have many shiny comics (Teen Titans ^_^ ), several brick-sized books (I've got to clear the bookshelves now) and some nice new clothes. I'm happy. I may not have acheived much of anything, but I have pretty pictures to stare at.

(and on that note - my sister gave me a gorgeous photo she took of underneath a local bridge, all blurry with lights. That's going on the pin board)

Who needs an alarm clock? They're evil.

I keep forgetting the breakfast cereal too. Or milk. But I also have a box of chocolate ready brek (that really healthy option) in my room and that doesn't need milk. Yehaw!

Shiny comics are good. My brother just separates me from mine when I'm home.

I think i had too much ready brek as a kid to enjoy it any more. Even the chocolate kind. CocoPops, though, Cocopops are the substance students are made of. This one, anyway.
