9/12/04 04:52 pmYour [insert random object here] cannot harm me! And then something about wings of steel that I can never quite remember.
Anyway, yes, Batfink. Very funny. And much Blackadder (Lord Flashheart, Lord Flashheart, we wish you were the star. Lord Flashheart, Lord Flashherat, you're sexier by far!). And alcohol, obviously. And pasta making at half midnight, and long conversations in the doorway. And six hours sleep before seminar, having read only one out of four essays for it. And then shopping, which means I have a lot of fruit now, and then random tutorial which involved three of us trying to hold a conversation about a lecture we didn't attend. Almost managed to blag it, except for one rather major point: we talked about two lecturers when there was only one. Oops. ^_^
I also have a rather large blister on my foot, which is bad because I have work on Saturday and I need to wear the boots that gave it to me then.
Why does no one know the grammatical rule about commas and names of people you are addressing??? Yes, it is deserving of three quetion marks, because this is at least the fourth time I've encountered it today. In about as many fics as well. Well written fics! I'm actually going to have to start using an icon with the rule on, or something. I can't be arsed explaining it every time I review something. Gah!

Date: 9/12/04 11:23 am (UTC)Blister: *sympathy* (there are special plasters for those and they make it far less painful, Hannah told me).
Commas: I do that sometimes, but only as a typo. Gets my goat too :P

Date: 9/12/04 12:19 pm (UTC)as for the comment about commas, that makes me want to go over all my fic and make sure I didn't do the same thing. Sometimes you get typing and things just don't come out right, and then you don't catch it when you go over the piece.
