That's right! While walking home with two heavy bags of shopping from Sainsbury's is possible it's not at all fun, is it, my littul fwends? Especially not when you bought soup.
Went out last night for Miranda's birthday. Only Miranda, Karen and I could make it, which was just as well in the end as we had enough trouble as it was fittting plates onto the only free table at the restaurant we chose - Oscar's. The portions were huge. Miranda didn't masnage to get through a quarter of her nachos. Of course, I helped, just a bit... I was absoltuely stuffed, but for some reason I kept 'stealing' nachos (with her permission, hence the inverted commas). I blame the sangria. It's one of those few drinks that leaves me feeling sober, so I'm stumbling up the stairs and so on wondering why, since I'd only had one glass so far, one glass that happened to be basically red wine since we hadn't mixed the jug properly, and I hadn't eaten since, well, the previous day really, not counting snacks and random fruit.
God my fingers are weird. Can barely type. Damn shopping bags. Got the TV aerial sorted out thugh, finally! Woo! Didn't get the card sorted out, since I forgot to tkae my chequebook and I wasn't sure they'd be able to do anything not knowing the account number. That and I failed to find the bank again. I might call, or I might go back in tomorrow. Tomorrow sounds fun. There was something else I needed, but completely forgot.
So, lunch, i think, since I actually have food and I've had today is a smidgen of maltloaf.
