In which I go squee
23/10/04 05:32 pm1 - We have Party Political Play-dough! It's actual Conservative playdough. Because Labour wants to take away all our 'dough' with top up fees, and the Conservatives want us to be able to 'mold' our own futures.
2 - Week's shopping cost me £20. The same amount of food would have cost me at least £40 at home. So woo, I will have lots of extra money around to spend on booze and comics. Or I won't, but I'll be able to put off getting a job for a bit longer.
3 - Had lunch in Betty's tea place. It cost £10 (lucky I saved on shopping, huh?) but twas very good. All civilised and stuff. Afternoon tea is the most amazing invention ever, since it allows for sandwiches, scones and cake, not to mention more tea than a sane person can drink. Also managed to jump a large chunk of queue because there wereonly four of us.
Mostly I'm still deeply amused by the playdough. I was talking to Chloe on the phone (I broke my Natalie Tea mug :( ) in the kitchen and picked it up. Read it. ...wtf? heheh
