20/10/04 04:24 pmHaving decision making problems: Do I try and bolt down food now, go to environment meeting at five and medieval at 7 and Yor:Mag at 7:30, do I assume I'll have time to eat between meetings or do I skip one or the other? Enivironment meeting does come with possible cake... I haven't paid for medieval, but I have Yor:mag. However, medieval sounds more fun than Yor'mag. But mag would look better on CVs. Both are in the same bar anyway, so I can always change my mind. It's just this eating thing I'm struggling with. if I eat now I'll be hungry by 7:30 anyway. Some of these meetings do go on.
Meep. I'm really not sure about the magazine. It could be great fun, but I'm more of a 'submit when I feel like' person, not a 'write something once a month to meet deadlines' person. Medieval looks like so much more my thing. The Magazine isn't really something I'd even read, so it's probalby not a sign I should write for it. The areas are: lifestyle, features, style, food and drink, travel, arts, music, sport, graphic design, photography and production. Of that, I'm interested in production and maybe graphic design, with an outside shot at arts and features. It's not that I think I won't be able to do what I want, I just think that perhaps I ought to be more enthusiastic about it, especially since it's a proper commitment.
I guess it's Environment (they do promise tea and cake) and Medieval. But I'm still no closer to deciding whether to eat now. Pasta takes too long, and I've pretty much run out of everything else. Oh, there's rice, too. Maybe I'll have cake and cereal? I can laways have a proper dinner at about 9ish. I'd try really quick pasta now, but I've wasted pasta time writing about whether to eat pasta.
So, cake, cereal, environment soc, medieval soc. What an exciting evening. :P
